Hermes - Surface is a personal tool used only by its owner. This policy describes how it handles Google account data.
Data the app accesses
- Gmail messages, with the read-only scope gmail.readonly.
- Google Calendar events, with the scope calendar.events.
How the data is used
The app reads this data to write a daily summary for its owner. It uses the data for no other purpose, and it does not use the data for advertising.
Sharing and storage
- The app does not sell Google user data and does not share it with other people.
- To write the summary, the app sends the relevant text to an AI model through OpenRouter, with zero data retention enforced. The provider does not store the text.
- Sign-in tokens are stored on a private server owned by the app's owner. The summary goes to the owner's own Telegram account.
- The app does not store copies of Gmail messages. It keeps a short list of follow-up items the owner approves.
Google API Services
The use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your choices
The owner removes the app's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
